This summer Washington College is hosting a Computer Mapping Technology Summer Camp from June 19-25, 2011.

Washington College’s Geospatial Technology Summer Camp offers a unique summer camp experience for kids in grades 7-12. Campers will spend one week at Washington College exploring many areas of this growing field. In combination with GIS, campers will also explore the chemistry of the surrounding waterways, the ecology of the Chester River Watershed, and the history of Chestertown by creating a 3D rendering of the town. By the end of the week campers walk away with a better understanding of how GIS is used in everyday life.

Parent Checklist for Camp

Per the Maryland Health Department we will be unable to accept your child for camp if we do not have the below information.

Camp Registration Form (pdf)
Medical Information Form (pdf)
Photo and Name Release Form (pdf)
Camper's Immunization Records (photocopy from doctor's office)
Photocopy Health Insurance Card (Front and Back)

To make the early bird deadline of April 15, 2011 we will accept the registration form and payment by itself, however we need the rest of the documents by June 1, 2011.
