Kathy is a senior environmental studies major. She is from Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, a suburb outside of Philadelphia. At WC she is a member of the swim team and is a S.A.M. She is also a member of Alpha Omicron Pi. She is working on multiple projects in the lab.

Caroline is a business management major and art minor. She is the captain of the women's soccer team and treasurer of her class. This is her first time working for GIS.

Andrew is currently a senior at Washington College, where he is working towards a computer science major and a minor in information science. He is currently working on curriculum development using the Moodle Course Management System. In addition to the GIS lab, he works for the Office of Information Technologies at the HelpDesk.

Elise is a senior who is majoring in English and minoring in Creative writing. Her environmental science and archeology interests drew her to pursue an internship in the GIS Lab. She has worked in the GIS Lab since Sophomore year and enjoys the warm, friendly atmosphere. While Elise is not a computer nerd, she has found her niche in the lab by writing grant letters, testing out teaching programs, and making edits to the programs along the way. Elise is glad that she is able to help with these new programs.

Megan is a Human Development major and Psychology minor, with elementary education teacher certification. She is the VP of Zeta Tau Alpha, VP of Pi Lambda Theta, and a member of Psi Chi, Order of Omega, Omicron Delta Kappa, and the WC Equestrian Team. This is her first year working in the GIS program. She is excited to apply what she knows about teaching while writing curriculum this summer.

Lisa is a junior majoring in anthropology and minoring in creative writing. This is her second year working in the GIS Lab and she also works in the Writing Center. She is from Fork, Maryland and enjoys snowboarding and surfing in her free time. In the GIS lab she has worked on projects such as digitizing, mapping, and manipulating tree canopy data of local towns for the Urban Greening Initiative, working to implement the use of GIS to demonstrate an Idaho farm's certification for organic farming, and reviewing and editing lessons and lectures for the GIS classes on campus.

Chris is a sophomore at Washington College and will be majoring in history. He is from Waynesboro, PA. He is interested in how GIS can relate to history. He enjoys playing intramural sports with the returning team called the Fat Kids. This year he has become the cryer for townball, an eighteenth century predecessor to baseball, played on the Campus Green Fridays in the fall and spring.

Corey plans on majoring in computer science with a possible interest in business. He has always been fascinated with computer and has worked with Java, computer hardware, and computer networks. He is your go to guy if your computer has a problem. Corey also likes to play video games, listen to music, and go anywhere where the fun is at. He plans on joining SIFE and possibly participating in safe ride.
